What happens when we stop trying to get it right, and simply show up as we are?
In this playful improv workshop with Nina Wägli, you’ll explore the freedom of saying “yes” to the moment. Through simple theater games and movement exercises, we’ll practice what it means to be spontaneous, to stumble with humor, and to connect without knowing what comes next.
Nina brings her signature mix of wit and warmth as a professional clown, performer, and comedian. After more than a decade bringing laughter to children in hospitals as Dr. PönK, she knows that play and presence can open even the heaviest spaces.
No acting experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to join in. Expect laughter, lightness, and a touch of courage as you rediscover how creative and connected life can feel when it’s beautifully unrehearsed.
About Nina Wägli
Nina Wägli was born in Bern and spent parts of her childhood across the ocean in Palo Alto and Ann Arbor. After taking to the skies as Swissair flight attendant, she landed back on solid ground in 2001—only to soon lift off again into the world of theater. Trained at the Comart School of Physical Theatre in Zurich, she later studied social work at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences in Arts.
For more than a decade, Nina has performed as Dr. PönK for the Théodora Foundation, visiting hospitals across Switzerland to bring laughter and lightness to children in challenging times. Alongside her work as a hospital clown, she’s an accomplished comedian who both shines and stumbles with humor and grace - finalist at the Olten Cabaret Casting in 2020, debuting her solo show verhedderet in 2021, and currently touring with her second program over & out as well as the family theater piece Mia & de lang Willi.
Nina lives in Bern with her family and continues to explore how play, presence, and laughter connect people across boundaries.
