A lineage of courage: embracing life with a bold mind and a playful heart
Kathrin Lange, Non-Violent Communication Trainer & Enthusiast
Coming from a family, where two generations had to navigate huge obstacles from two World Wars and rebuilt their lives in the former DDR (East Germany) and following the fall of the Berlin wall, Kathin has always been profoundly aware of how her family's experiences shaped her identity.
On the Women's Hub stage, Kathrin wants to honor and celebrate especially her maternal ancestors for their unwavering courage in the face of adversity, and their indelible playful heart that guarded them as they bore their difficult fate. This same playfulness was once omnipresent in her too, and literally led her to dance through childhood, until challenging circumstances dulled her natural enthusiasm during her teenage years, and her colorful world turned gray.
Now, one and half decades later, Kathrin is reconnecting to the boldness and vibrancy of her ancestors. She reclaims back her playful part and uses it as fuel for her mission to train people in Nonviolent Communication as a way to build bridges and foster more meaningful connections in an ever more polarized world.

Finding my new rhythm: embracing change through perimenopause.
Emily Rappitt, Veteran business leader: Building a creative career
When Emily experienced troublesome symptoms of (what she later found out was) perimenopause during the pandemic, that backdrop of external upheaval caught her off-guard from focusing inward. Meanwhile, the physical, mental and emotional symptoms were turning her life on its head and unexpectedly brought a halt to her usual routine.
Music and dance were at the heart of Emily’s childhood and a source of comfort and safety. After childhood she subconsciously appreciated the natural rhythm of life that she experienced through her female cycle. So it was an immensely unnerving experience when her soothing natural rhythmic tune turned into an unpleasant perimenopausal cacophony, and recently ended in a deafening silence.
On the Women's Hub stage, Emily will share how she turned the loud silence in her body into a space to reinvent herself for the second act of her career, and how she is embracing her newfound creativity by tuning into this wholly natural, but disorienting, experience to help other ladies to find their new rhythm.

From blades to beyond: Alessia's spiritual metamorphosis
Alessia von Rohr, Channeller & Professional Problem Solver
The day her father passed away changed everything for Alessia. Growing up, she had always been a goal-oriented, driven girl, whose grid allowed her to flourish as a competitive figure skater. But then, when her father passed away, unexpected things started to happen. A spiritual awakening led her to do a mediumship training, and the once hyperrational Alessia is now offering channeling sessions as part of her work with the Goddess Collective.
And her dream doesn’t stop there, as she is on a mission to create a spiritual sanctuary in the center of bustling Zurich. Her impact and vision are big, and yet there is still this little voice in her head that holds her back from being ‘too weird and woo’. On the Women's Hub stage, Alessia will fully step into her power and spiritual gifts, so she can share them with the world even more generously.

Lifting the fog: parting ways and finding myself
Annamarie Dober, Fundraising & Marketing professional working in climate protection
What a year it has been for Annamarie! The challenging path that led her to the decision to get divorced propelled her into a transformative journey of self-discovery. Breaking free from the constraints of the past, Annamarie, for the first time in what seemed like an eternity, started to trust her gut, and could sense the fog lifting around her.
In this newfound clarity, she reignited her passion for baking, travel, community, and various other things that fill life with vibrancy, and infected many others around her with the joy-bug through her contagious, enthusiastic energy.
On the Women's Hub stage, she will reflect on her courageous journey back to herself, and will reveal the big adventure that she will embark on in 2024 to reconnect with her heritage and deepen her connection to herself even further.

Cilia van der Ven, Leadership & Competence leader
In a world where there is so much division and polarization, many of us long for a sense of connection and belonging. How do we overcome our differences and connect in a meaningful way without losing ourselves?
Cilia van der Ven has always been fascinated by the human connection. She teaches a variety of practices that help us explore how we relate to ourselves and to others, and how we can deepen the connection between us in an authentic and purposeful way.
In the Inspiration Workshop, she will show us what is possible when we apply an almost meditative awareness onto what is here within us and between us in the present moment. Much like a microscope reveals a whole other level of reality, the practice that she will teach us can reveal a new way of being in relationship both with ourselves and others. This might change the way you relate to the people around you forever.
