The power of Me in the story of We

Karen Heimlicher-Foong, Counsellor and Relationship Coach

Growing up in her culture and family environment, Karen Heimlicher often felt the sting of shame and instilled fear, used as a parenting tool to correct even the smallest of missteps. This left her feeling she was flawed and never enough, which in turn caused stress in building deep connections in relationships.

Over time, Karen realized the key to creating meaningful relationships required her to create that sense of harmony within herself first. Through this journey, she learnt to let go of the shame, embrace the fear, and has transformed her connections with friends and family into much richer and more fulfilling relationships.

At the Women’s Hub Day, Karen will share how embracing ourselves and finding our harmony can help us all reduce relationship stress, deepen our relationships and connect authentically with those around us.

Between Fire & Sensitivity: The Art of Finding Balance

Pia Eggimann, Founder of Positive Coaching

On the outside, Pia Eggimann looked like she had it all together—thriving in school, soothing herself with flute melodies, and tackling challenges with quiet resolve. But beneath the surface, a storm brewed.

In her talk at Women’s Hub Day, Pia shares deeply personal stories of navigating life’s phases: the unconscious inner growth of childhood, the rebellious striving of adolescence, the performance-driven ambition of early adulthood, and the discovery of self-directed, authentic growth as she approached her 30s and became a mother.

Through reflections on external expectations, inner conflicts, and transformative moments, Pia reveals how she is learning to balance the fire of action and ambition with her sensitive, intuitive side. Music, creativity, and storytelling have guided her through (almost) every phase, and she will weave them into this heartfelt talk.

This is more than a personal story—it’s a call to rethink what strength means and embrace the power of connection in healing and growth. Today, Pia channels these lessons into her Positive Coaching practice, supporting others in uncovering their own authentic path through career and leadership coaching. Join us for an inspiring exploration of what it means to let go, find balance, and embrace authenticity in life.

Inner work, psychedelics and photography: My Path to Authenticity

Aly Aesch, Photographer helping women to show up authentically

Aly's life was supposed to look very different. Growing up in a Mormon Church community, she was expected to embrace a life centered on being a housewife. But Aly chose a different path. Drawing on deep inner courage, she not only left a marriage that no longer aligned with her values but also built her own photography business from the ground up.

What started as a business venture soon revealed itself to be much more—a journey of profound self-discovery and transformation. Along the way, Aly found healing and clarity through unexpected avenues, including the transformative power of psychedelics. Each step brought her closer to her authentic self, teaching her to trust her intuition and embrace her truth.

On the Women’s Hub stage, Aly will share how self-reflection and connecting with her unconscious mind unlocked bold steps toward a life she loves. Her story is one of courage, creativity, and passion—not just for her business, but for embracing life on her own terms.

Inspiration Workshop

The transformative power of our voices

Tanya Birri, Artist, Vocal-Coach, Podcast host

Do you know the feeling of carrying more within you than words could ever express?

Your voice is so much more than a tool for communication—it’s the key to your innermost self. It holds the power to break down barriers, create profound connections, and uncover untold stories waiting to be expressed. In every tone, word, or moment of silence lies an incredible energy just waiting to be discovered.

Many of us hold back from speaking up in public—let alone singing!—without realizing that our voice is one of the most powerful tools we have. Not only can it transform us individually, but it’s also one of the strongest ways to connect deeply with others.

In this workshop, Tanya Birri will guide us to embrace our unique voices and explore the magic that happens when we come together in sound. Through playful and empowering exercises, you’ll learn to step into your voice with confidence and joy. Together, we’ll experience the uplifting and transformative power of collective sound—proving that when we join our voices, we create something far greater than the sum of its parts.

Music is like life: when we join forces, a world of possibilities opens!
