For years, Adrienne took her health for granted, enjoying her strength and agility while swimming, cycling, kickboxing and practicing karate on a high level.
But then, she had to undergo two invasive surgeries in three years, and went through dark times struggling to accept her weakened body, and to give it time to heal.
In this online LOVE SESSION, Adrienne will share how nurturing a more loving relationship with her body helped to not only recover from her surgeries, but to thrive emotionally and physically.

Adrienne is a Canadian IT professional turned certified personal trainer, and a devoted karate black belt.
She has over 25 years of experience in sports, from swimming, to cycling to kickboxing, until she found her true passion in karate, which she loves for the strength it brings, its disciplinary elements, principles and techniques with ultimate connection to natural body movements.
Her ‘sportive’ journey hasn’t been an easy one. Adrienne has encountered injuries and operations, which entailed months of rehabilitation which brought her back to square one.
She knows that restarting takes tremendous drive, patience, discipline, and overcoming self-doubt, fear of being injured again, and physical fatigue, and she is confident that if she could overcome it, we can too!
