Amaru is a passionate brand coach, musician and new mom.
She used to believe structure and planning were the key to a happy life, until she became pregnant and realized she had to let go of the idea that she could control the future.
The birth of her child, whom she lovingly calls her 'sonshine' , invited her to reinvent herself and the way she relates to planning for her future, both on a personal and professional level.
In the spirit of the approaching new year, she will share her new, sonshine-inspired vision on New Year's resolutions, and how to plan for the future while life is happening to you.
FOLLOWING THE DOTS. A New Approach To Vision Boards
Having lived in Kampala, Nairobi, New York City and now Zürich, Amaru is a ferocious dreamer on a mission to draw the wildest and deepest dreams out of passionate dreamers. And she doesn’t just stop at dreaming. She makes dreams happen. So far Kampala, Kampala Design Week and African In Zürich are just some examples of projects she turned from a possibility to a reality.
She is also a new mother and founder of The Mama’s circle, a safe space for mama's to share personal experiences, learn from and support each other.
Lastly, she is a passionate musician for whom music is more than a cherished lover and old friend. For Amaru music is a means of survival and a motivation for breathing. She hopes through her music, to inspire her audiences to feel deeply and sincerely; to brave places they previously feared, to experience healing and desire to love outrageously.
